Quickparts seeks a Metal 3D Printing Technician for our High Wycombe, UK site. Reporting to the workshop supervisor, this role is responsible for post-process operations for metal printed products. The position involves hands-on manual work using hand and machine tools, alongside the operation of metal 3D printing machines. If you have practical skills and are eager to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and operation of metal 3D Printing machines
- Metal powder processing and quality control
- Support structure removal and final finishing of metal parts produced from 3D Printing
- Operation of manual machine tools - drills, saws, grinder, lathe, mill etc
- Operation of inspection equipment to check manufactured product to required standard
- Maintenance and housekeeping of entire workshop including 3D printers, CNC and manual machines
- Hands-on practical skills
- Versatile and willing to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and enjoys working in a team environment
- Works to a high standard under tight deadlines for demanding customer requirements
- Experience working in machining workshop environment an advantage
- Beginners welcome / comprehensive training provided
