This is a highly dynamic, hands-on role where you will work with a wide range of production technologies—including 3D printing, vacuum casting, CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal processing, and die-casting. You will ensure that prototype and low-volume parts meet technical specifications, customer requirements, and compliance standards. Additionally, you will manage vital quality documentation and act as a key interface with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters.

Why This Role Matters

  • Ensure product conformity for complex prototypes and low-volume components
  • Act as a key interface with customers and suppliers on quality matters
  • Manage and maintain critical quality documentation and records
  • Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
  • Uphold strict compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems

What You’ll Do

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections on prototype and low-volume components using traditional tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and advanced systems (CMM, 3D scanning)
  • Verify product conformity with drawings, specifications, tolerances, and aesthetic requirements
  • Prepare and maintain measurement reports, FAI / PPAP documentation, Certificates of Conformity, and other quality records
  • Manage and update quality system documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 (mandatory) and IATF 16949, including internal audits, nonconformities, and corrective actions
  • Conduct quality checks at external suppliers and support supplier qualification processes
  • Investigate and manage internal, supplier, and customer nonconformities using structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa)
  • Provide technical support to customers on quality-related topics and manage claims or corrective action requests
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Program Management, and Sales teams to ensure consistent quality standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and the quality management system
  • Travel occasionally to supplier and customer sites

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical diploma (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials, Quality) or equivalent degree
  • 2–5 years of experience in quality within manufacturing, preferably in prototyping, low-volume production, or automotive sectors
  • Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques and measurement tools
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and GD&T
  • Understanding of key manufacturing technologies (Additive Manufacturing, Vacuum Casting, CNC Machining, Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, Die-Casting)
  • Familiarity with PPAP, FAI, DFMEA, PFMEA, and automotive-quality procedures
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and auditing practices (IATF 16949 is a plus)
  • Proficiency with Office tools and quality/ERP/MES systems for documentation and reporting
  • Analytical problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English (minimum B2 level)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-technology environment

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Direct access to cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Real ownership — your work shapes the quality of cutting-edge prototypes
