Summary

We're looking for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our growing transport operation based in Widnes. If you're a professional driver who enjoys life on the road and is looking for regular nationwide work with a well-run business, we'd love to hear from you. You'll be driving modern articulated vehicles with curtain-sided trailers, delivering goods across the UK while representing Quickline Logistics with professionalism and pride.

Responsibilities

  • Driving Class 1 articulated vehicles with curtain-sided trailers
  • Completing nationwide deliveries and collections
  • Tramping Monday to Friday with 4 nights out each week
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
  • Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
  • Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately
  • Following Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service at all points

What we are Looking For:

  • Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
  • Maximum of 3 penalty points
  • Experience with curtain-sided trailers preferred
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks
  • Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, safety conscious and customer focused
