Our mission relies on a team full of inspiring people, and we’re looking for a Telecoms Field Operative Apprentice to join our internal build team providing support with splicing, testing and cabling activities. If you are keen to start your career in telecommunications, enjoy learning and have a skill for problem solving, then this could be the role for you. This role is a Fixed Term 18-month Contract, and you will have the opportunity to complete a Level 2 Telecoms Field Operative Apprenticeship.
Here’s why you’ll love this role:
- Support with delivering tasks outlined in a design work pack, or by way of instruction to cabling specifications.
- Learn to effectively interpret plans and record deviations or blockages.
- Learn to understand and work from straight line diagrams and FNC's.
- Report daily workload to manager, supervisor and coordination team.
- Help contribute to teams performance and challenge improvements at every opportunity.
Here’s why you’ll be great in this role:
- You will need to have held a full UK driving licence for 12 months minimum and be able to travel to rural sites across the region.
- A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills within the telecoms industry.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- An interest in technology and problem solving.
