Our mission relies on a team full of inspiring people, and we’re looking for a Wayleave Officer to support with obtaining wayleaves and permissions to carry out works on land.

This role is offered as an 18 month – Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities
- Acquire wayleaves, easements, freehold and leasehold interests.
- Ensure all existing wayleaves and agreements are current, signed, and reviewed on schedule.
- Negotiate and renegotiate wayleaves and agreements.
- Liaise with legal teams and land agents to draw up license/wayleave agreements.
- Assist with maintenance checks, repairs, and keep asset records up to date.
- Attend site visits and work with landowners, stakeholders, and local communities.
- Assess opportunities to execute code powers on new builds.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with wayleaves, licenses, or legal agreements.
- Code powers experience preferred; legal experience (paralegal, LPC, or similar) desirable.
- Good understanding of planning policies, environmental considerations, and rural land use.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident using IT tools, including Monday.com and MS Office.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across rural areas.
