Overview
We’re looking for a HR Advisor to provide high‑quality, practical HR advice and support to managers and employees across the employee lifecycle, ensuring employee engagement activity is well coordinated and delivered.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of people matters, including absence, performance, conduct, grievance and flexible working.
- Support employee relations casework, ensuring HR policies, procedures and employment legislation are applied fairly, consistently and in line with company standards.
- Deliver key employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding and probation reviews to contractual changes, family leave and offboarding, working closely with HR Administrators.
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems, support organisational people processes and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement activities.
- Champion an automation‑first approach by identifying opportunities to simplify HR processes, leverage digital tools and AI, enhance manager self‑service and improve the overall colleague experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an HR advisory or HR officer role.
- Experience of providing practical HR advice to managers and employees across a range of people matters.
- Experience of supporting employee lifecycle activity including recruitment, onboarding, absence management and policy administration.
- Experience of working in a busy environment and managing a varied workload with competing priorities.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification, or working towards this, would be desirable.
