We work with a variety of businesses across product and service niches across North America & Europe.
As an experienced Content Specialist at SEO Magic, you will play a critical role in optimizing our clients' blog content for search engines with research and edits.
What You'll Need- Proven experience (3+ years) at SEO-driven content writing, with a track record of achieving tangible results in improving organic search rankings and traffic.
- Proven experience in achievable keyword research and rankings at different website authorities.
- Ability to improve on-page SEO with metadata and non-technical on page changes.
- Understanding of local and wide-scale SEO strategies and tactics to improve rankings and visibility.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Proficiency in website software such as Wordpress and Webflow.
- Content Generation: You will be given a range of clients to develop keyword strategies for, under the guidance of the Head of SEO. You will use AI to generate content for these clients, driven by keyword research, ready for editing. You will edit all pieces of content to fully reflect clients branding and internally link to relevant areas of the website to boost SEO. This should be engaging, authoritative, and optimized for SEO.
- On-page SEO: You will add metadata for all blog posts created for clients, ensuring all content has the ability to rank. You will be given product and location pages to optimize for SEO - looking at copy and metadata.
- Keyword Research: Support the SEO team with research into target terms for anchor text when building backlinks, and terms to build into content writing to hit client goals. Utilize SEO tactics to compile keyword lists, tailored to a variety of clients based on intent and KW difficulty - varying to enable quick-win rankings and long-term strategic goals. Analyze competitors' keyword profiles and make data-driven recommendations for client keywords.
- Imagery Selection: Compile imagery that aligns with the content, reflecting the client's brand identity and targeted keywords effectively.
