Quick Staff UK is pleased to be recruiting two Production Supervisors on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in the Haverfordwest area. This role will oversee daily production operations, ensuring the efficient packing and dispatch of products. You’ll manage a team, liaise with support departments, and play a key part in driving improvements across processes, quality, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage Production Machine Operators and Operatives
  • Allocate staff to production lines based on skills and training levels
  • Coordinate with Dispatch to meet daily stock requirements
  • Handle administrative tasks including hours reporting, pack-out reports, and training records
  • Support accident reporting, audits, and health & safety compliance
  • Oversee pre-production checks and operate packing equipment
  • Promote and uphold hygiene, safety, and quality standards
  • Identify constraints and implement process improvements
  • Provide reports and updates to Production Manager and senior management

Key Requirements:

  • Proven supervisory experience in production and dispatch
  • Strong understanding of production planning and staff coordination
  • Skilled in motivating teams and improving efficiency
  • Knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and relevant employment practices
  • IT literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook) and strong communication skills
  • Flexible and well-organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Desirable: ILM or NVQ management qualification, health & safety certification

Hours of work:

Week 1: Monday to Friday: 5am/7am to 3pm/5pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday: 5pm to 2am

The successful candidates must be flexible as the occasional weekend shift may be required.
