Quick Staff UK are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join an established manufacturing business based in the BS15 area of Bristol. This is a permanent opportunity with long-term stability, training across multiple machines, and excellent earning potential. If you’ve got machine operating experience and want a role with progression and an early Friday finish — this could be ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth output
  • Set up, adjust and maintain machines during production runs
  • Carry out quality checks and inspections on finished products
  • Troubleshoot minor machine faults and keep production running
  • Complete production logs and records accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Work towards daily production targets as part of a team

Key Requirements:

  • Previous machine operating or production experience
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and train on multiple machines
  • Physically fit and able to stand for periods of time

Hours of Work:

  • Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 15:30
  • Friday: 07:30 – 13:30
  • 38 hours per week (early finish every Friday)

  • £25,114 p.a.
