Quick Staff UK is recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join a successful and established international manufacturing company based in Blackwood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service, administration and order-processing skills to join a busy commercial team within a global manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for looking after customer orders from initial entry through to delivery, working closely with customers and internal departments including Sales, Planning, Logistics, Production and Quality. We're looking for someone who is highly organised, confident communicating with customers and comfortable managing multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Manage orders from initial entry through to scheduling, dispatch and delivery
  • Provide customers with order acknowledgements and delivery updates
  • Liaise closely with Planning, Production, Logistics and other internal departments
  • Monitor orders to ensure agreed delivery dates and on-time, in-full (OTIF) targets are achieved
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts
  • Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email
  • Manage order amendments and communicate any additional costs internally
  • Record and escalate customer complaints to the appropriate departments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information
  • Prepare weekly and monthly customer reports

Key Requirements

  • Previous customer service or customer administration experience
  • B2B customer service experience would be highly advantageous
  • Strong administration and order-processing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using CRM, order management or ERP systems
  • SAP experience would be highly advantageous
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • £27,500 per annum
  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Based at the company's Blackwood site
