Quick Staff UK is recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected manufacturer. Supplying major retailers across the UK and internationally, our client is seeking an organised and proactive Purchasing Coordinator / Buyer to join their procurement team.Working closely with the Production Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and products are available when needed, supporting production schedules and helping deliver excellent service to customers. If you have previous purchasing or procurement experience, enjoy working with data, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: * Support purchasing and procurement activities to ensure the timely supply of products and materials * Assist with forecasting and stock level planning * Build strong relationships with suppliers and understand their production capabilities * Coordinate shipping schedules and maximise container utilisation * Support new product launches and manage reprint requirements * Maintain accurate purchasing and stock records across internal systems * Liaise with internal departments to ensure production deadlines are achieved * Produce and analyse reports using Excel * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the supply chain Key Requirements: * Previous experience within purchasing, procurement, buying or supply chain * Experience of forecasting, stock control or inventory planning * Strong Microsoft Excel skills * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * A confident communicator who enjoys building supplier relationships * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment * Experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment would be advantageous Salary & Benefits: * Permanent, full-time position * Salary from £32,500 per annum * Company pension * Private medical insurance * Life insurance * Health & wellbeing programme * Sick pay * Casual dress * Free on-site parking * Long-term career opportunity within a successful and growing business If you're an experienced Purchasing or Procurement professional looking for your next opportunity in Bath, we'd love to hear from you.
