Responsibilities

  • Work alongside clients within your business unit to get a deep understanding of their product development processes and the flow of information and reporting.
  • As part of a project team, systematically address and improve the way these clients manage their product data – solving problems and shaping solutions to deliver the right outcomes.
  • Further develop your people and project management expertise, through mentoring, learning and practice.
  • Responsibility for delivering your own workstreams as you develop your understanding of QR_PDM/PLM engagements.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and teammates and become a trusted and knowledgeable advisor to clients.
  • Support deployments and development of our technical/software tools and solutions.
  • Attend and contribute to regular team meetings, 1:1s and knowledge shares with SMEs, senior management and the wider QR team.
  • Support the wide range of internal business improvement projects and initiatives (e. g., team building, events, CSR, diversity, pride, mental health, innovation labs, sports and music).

Location and working arrangements for different projects will always be flexible, but most projects will have a requirement to be on-site for part of the working week.

Business units are split by region and team members are deployed within that region, unless by special arrangement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2+ years of expertise delivering technical/data-focused projects, ideally within engineering or tech industries.
  • A first-class or high 2.1 bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or Ph D in any discipline.
  • Project and people management ambitions – the desire to inspire trust and confidence from clients and teammates alike.
  • The drive to take on more responsibility – determination to be the best, make a difference and drive change for people and planet.
  • The ability to make sense of complexity and present compelling data-driven stories and solutions that resonate with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills; able to walk and talk with manufacturing, technical and business contacts at all levels.
  • £38,000-£50,000 starting salary plus other rewards and benefits.
