We are looking for a Finance Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting and innovative company. As a Finance Assistant we are looking for somebody that is very flexible, has excellent customer service skills and understands the importance of credit control within an organisation. In return you will receive an excellent salary, enrolment in the company pension scheme and 23 days holiday.   • Open new Sales and Purchase Accounts on Sage
  • Cross check Credit Safe on a daily basis with our Sales Accounts
  • Investigate credit requests and follow through to authorisation
  • Assist with purchase ledger entry and queries
  • Understand and be able to cover the credit control of the Sales Ledger over holiday periods
  • Be able to take Credit Card payments online.
  • Any other duties

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about customer service
  • Have a prior knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel
  • Be able to converse effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Have previous credit control experience
  • Have an ability to work well within a team
