TEAM LEADER CNC MILLER PROGRAMMER Questech are working with a large machining company that have heavily invested into modern machines. We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to work for our client who are located close to Rotherham / Barnsley THE DUTIES OF A CNC PROGRAMMER MILLER:
- Team Leader
- Pro-actively drive performance of the shift to achieve the defined plan, ensuring that your own and the teams' work is finished on time and to the correct standard.
- Identify and utilise best practice methods for work holding, tight tolerance machining and tooling.
- Work with Engineering to identify and help deliver manufacturing cost & time savings.
- Liaise with the Operations Manager regarding machine breakdowns and repairs.
- Conduct quality investigations and reviews to determine true root cause of defects.
- Confident of working on medium to high volume batch work and fully skilled to program, set and operate CNC machining centres with HURCO and FANUC control. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES &
SKILLS:
- Minimum 10 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
- Excellent communication skills THE HOURS: Days and afters rotating, weekly
- Mon-Fri β 6am-2pm (40 hours)
- Mon- Thur β 2pm-12am (40 hours)
THE PAY:
- You will earn an hourly rate of between Β£20-Β£22ph an hour depending on experience.
- OT paid @ 1.5x (basic + bonus)
