Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Sherburn in Elmet, West Yorkshire. This client is a fast-paced production facility, experiencing substantial growth.
The Person:
- Engineering ONC qualified or equivalent
- Relevant experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment / Food Industry and Site Services role
- Experience with refrigeration, compressed air and vacuum systems
- Pipe fitting and welding experience would be an advantage
- Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills
- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office family of products
- Experience of Maintenance Management Systems & software
- Asset management knowledge
The Role:
- Taking responsibility for all site services and amenity requirements
- Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule
- Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations
- Process Capability: Establish capability of all site services processes and follow statistical process controls to monitor and ensure processes are stable and deliver products that meet customer specifications
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve standards set by facilitating and executing 8 Step Practical Problem Solving or other appropriate KPS methodologies within the site maintenance team
