Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Electrical Maintenance Engineer) to join their team. Competitive salary + Shift allowance (to be discussed on application). Shift pattern: 3 on 3 off, alternating days and nights, 6:30-18:30, 18:30-6:30, average 42 hours week.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive maintenance and PPM activities in line with any legal compliance.
- Support days engineering team with PPM’s and planned repairs across the factory when volume of breakdown work allows.
- Identify and implement proactive improvement opportunities, inclusive of JDI (Just Do It) activities and PPM.
- Drive continuous improvement across site.
- Operate in line with all company H S Standards.
- Implementation and adherence to safe working practices in accordance with legislation.
- Complete all administrative tasks on Agility (CMMS) to ensure all activities are captured.
- Develop new activities where and when required to do so.
- Have an active involvement with site project work where applicable.
