We're recruiting on behalf of our client based close to Matlock. This is a unique opportunity to join a business that is thriving. This business rarely has to hire in its maintenance team which speaks volumes. This is an exciting and varied role. No two days are the same; you could be completing PPMs on a 50-year-old machine one day and assisting with the installation of state-of-the-art automated machinery the next. The Person:

  • NVQ Level 3 (Apprentice trained electrical).
  • Experience within a manufacturing/heavy environment.
  • Have worked as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi-skilled Maintenance Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Technician or Industrial Electrician.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptable / Resilient / Motivated.

The Role:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance.
  • Electrical maintenance of all site machinery.
  • Reactive Maintenance.
  • Completing job sheets for the maintenance planner.
  • Fault finding.
  • Adhering to site H&S procedure.
  • Identifying machine reliability issues.

This role is working 12 hour days and nights: Week 1: 48 hours. Week 2: 36 hours. Week 3: 48 hours. The salary on offer for this position is up to £52,100 (this is inclusive of shift premium).
