Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team at one of our prestigious clients based in Goole, East Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team where your contribution can and will make a huge difference. The plant is a 24/7 manufacturing environment where downtime must be kept to a minimum.
The Shifts: 4 On 4 Off Days & Nights
The Pay: £54,000 per annum
What You Will Do:
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives
- Support our proactive safety culture
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Perform day to day activities of the Maintenance department, including but not limited to:
- Breakdown rectification / fault finding / follow-up completion
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
- Electrical improvement and project work
- Strive to improve equipment reliability
- Demonstrate ability and knowledge to maintain electrical systems and machinery in good repair
- Assist in decision making to repair or replace electrical components and equipment
- Fault finding, repairing and maintaining electrical control systems and manufacturing equipment
- Ensure machinery is electrically safe to operate
- Install and maintain electrical and safety systems
- Flexible, adaptable, ability to work overtime
