We are recruiting for someone to run the CNC Machines for our client who are located near Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Training will be provided.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC MACHINIST:

  • Setting and operating CNC Turning and Milling machines
  • Editing programmes
  • Producing high precision work
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhein controls

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
  • Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

You will work on a weekly rotational shift of both days and late shifts:

  • Week 1 - Days - Monday-Thursday 6am – 2.15pm / Friday 6am – 12pm (5 shifts)
  • Week 2 - Lates - Monday – Wednesday 2pm-00.30am / Thursday 2pm-10.30pm (4 shifts)

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of basic £15.83 per hour plus shift allowance (total £19 per hour).
