Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for experienced Auto Electricians or Hydraulic Fitters to join them as an Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Skilled in either electrical or hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly techniques (Automotive)
  • You will have Auto-Electrical qualifications; if you have completed training courses in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics it would be an advantage
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings
  • Knowledge of CANbus systems
  • Two years experience of working in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
  • Experience in production projects and Continuous Improvement
  • Ability to read and understand engineering build specifications
  • You are available for overtime during the week, Fridays, and weekends on occasions

Salary: Up to £17.24 per hour + Overtime

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assembling and fitting electrical and hydraulic systems to high standards
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings
  • Ensure all work meets build specifications and quality expectations in line with BS EN ISO 9001
  • Carry out electrical and hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly
  • Take ownership of your own quality and workmanship
  • Promote good housekeeping and follow all safety protocols
