Warehouse Team Manager – Returns Operations

Salary: £33,000 per annum Working Hours: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Working Pattern: Tuesday – Saturday Location: BD12, Oakenshaw

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and driven Warehouse Team Manager to join a high-volume returns operation processing up to 70,000 returns per day for ASOS.

This is a very fast-paced, hands-on role within a manual warehouse environment.

You will be based on the shop floor, leading your team, driving performance and ensuring operational KPIs and targets are consistently achieved.

This role would suit a confident warehouse leader who enjoys working at pace, developing people and taking ownership of performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage warehouse teams on a day-to-day basis.
  • Drive performance directly from the shop floor.
  • Set, monitor and manage operational KPIs and performance targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and address underperformance effectively.
  • Coach, motivate and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Identify training needs and ensure staff receive appropriate training and support.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, attendance and other key operational measures.
  • Take ownership of performance issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Work closely with other members of the management team to maintain a consistent operation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Ensure company procedures, health & safety standards and operational processes are followed.

About You

We're looking for someone who is comfortable leading from the front and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

You will ideally have

  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Manager, Shift Manager, Team Leader or similar operational management role.
  • Experience managing performance within a high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs
  • INDFMCG
