Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Upholsterer to work in their busy factory. This is a permanent, full time role.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Over a year’s recent experience in furniture upholstery.
- Strong understanding of upholstery techniques including cutting, sewing, padding, webbing, fitting, and finishing.
- Ability to use upholstery tools and machinery safely and correctly.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to produce high quality finishes.
- Strong problem solving ability when working with complex or bespoke pieces.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Salary: 14.85 per hour + Bonus (circa 40 - 110 a month depending on performance), also discretionary twice annual bonus based on overall company performance.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.00am - 11.00am
Breaks: One 30-minute break (paid), two 15-minute breaks (unpaid)
