Questech Recruitment are on the lookout for Vehicle Technicians who would be interested in ongoing Agency work in the North East working on Vans.
This role would be perfect for Self Employed Technicians who are looking for enhanced rates and weekly pay.
The Role:
You will work on a fleet of vehicles carrying out preventative maintenance which includes using a variety of hand-held tools to extract old nuts and bolts and install new ones and all preventive maintenance work required.
Duties:
- Drilling and extracting using hand-held tools
- Problem solving
- Carry out assignments in a timely manner
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- Work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Comply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work site
Experience:
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience working on Light Vehicles, HGV and Plant Vehicles would be an advantage.
- General mechanical and fabrication skills, metalworking experience
- Welding skills advantageous but not essential
- Health and safety / safe working knowledge
Hours:
Flexible working hours
Pay Rate (Hourly):
£22 - £25 PAYE OR up to £32 through LTD or Umbrella.
