PSV Technician – Skegness Location: Skegness Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 38–40 hours per week Shifts: Rotating earlies and lates, working 5 days out of 7 Pay award due in the new year Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician to join a busy engineering team in Skegness. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to keep the bus fleet safe, reliable and ready for service. The Role * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles. * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. * Complete vehicle inspections and rectify defects. * Prepare vehicles for MOT testing. * Work on engines, transmissions, braking, steering and suspension systems. * Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately. * Follow workshop health and safety procedures. * Work closely with the engineering team to minimise vehicle downtime. The Ideal Candidate * Experience as a PSV Technician, Bus Mechanic, HGV Technician or similar. * A relevant qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally Level 3 or equivalent. * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. * A good understanding of vehicle inspection and roadworthiness standards. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility to work rotating early and late shifts, including weekends.
