Plant & Equipment Coordinator We are recruiting for an experienced Plant & Equipment Coordinator to work for our client who are based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. THE DUTIES: * Maintain an accurate, up-to-date log of all plant machinery, generators, and mowers—tracking their location, usage, and return dates. * Inspect equipment upon return, checking for wear, faults, or safety concerns. * Carry out basic repairs and servicing where possible (e.g., oil changes, filter replacements, tightening fittings). * Identify issues that require specialist repair and arrange for prompt servicing with approved contractors. * Ensure all equipment is stored correctly, clean, and ready for deployment. * Liaise with site teams to schedule equipment returns and dispatches. * Keep detailed maintenance records to support compliance and operational planning. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: * Experience working with plant machinery, generators, or similar mechanical equipment. * Basic mechanical repair skills and the ability to diagnose common faults. * Strong organisational skills with a knack for keeping accurate records. * Good communication skills to coordinate with site teams and service providers. * A commitment to safety and quality in every task. THE HOURS: 37.5 hours with x 1.5 overtime after. Monday – Thursday: 7am – 4pm Friday: 7am – 11am THE PAY: You will earn an hourly rate of £16.72 per hour.
