Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair their manufacturing machinery. They are looking for someone with experience in both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Days and Nights (12 hour shifts: 5.30am - 5.30pm / 5.30pm - 5.30am)
Salary: £46,548 including shift allowance (£43,246 basic + £3,301 shift allowance)
Location: Hazlehead near Penistone (S36)
Multi Skilled Engineer Responsibilities:
- To operate in line with all company H&S standards and embrace and contribute to the company ISRS Safety Programme
- Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation
- To advise and assist the Production Team to ensure that all products are made to the highest possible yield and product quality standards
- To ensure that the efficiency of the process is maintained at all times
- To undertake electrical and mechanical engineering activities and assist in planned and unplanned work.
- To participate in all training programs including the training of others
- Drive continuous improvement across site
- Be involved with project work as and when required
- Accompany contractors to facilitate work
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, or an ONC Electrical qualification, or HNC Electrical qualification
- A time served multi-skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong technical and electrical knowledge
- Process the ability to work with pneumatic controls and read electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings.
