We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work for our client who are located in Holmfirth/Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES
- Inspection of high precision components
- In-process and Final Component Inspection
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- A can-do approach, with the ability to work on their own initiative
- CMM programming skills highly advantageous but not essential, training will be provided (Mitutoyo MCosmos)
- Calibration system management
- First Article Inspection Reporting
- Document results and findings into QC system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
- Excellent communication skills
THE HOURS
You will work a day shift - Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4pm / Friday 7.30am-1.30pm
THE PAY
You will earn an annual salary of between £35k-£40k depending on experience. Overtime @ time and half if required.
