We are looking for a skilled and motivated PSV Technician to join our clients engineering team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and inspection of our PSV fleet ensuring all vehicles meet DVSA standards and operate safely and reliably. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in high quality workmanship and wants to be part of a supportive, professional operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on PSV Vehicles
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete MOT preparations and safety inspections
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures and DVSA regulations
- Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records
- Work collaboratively with the engineering and operations team
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent
- Proven experience working in PSV or HGV vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
- Good understanding of DVSA standards and compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- A PSV or HGV Licence (desirable but not essential)
