PLATER / WELDER – Temp 1 Month

We are recruiting for an experienced Plater/ Welder to work for our client who are located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A PLATER / WELDER:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* This is a temp role for one month – may be extended.
* Mark out, cut, and prepare heavy steel plate for fabrication using tools such as plasma cutters and grinders.
* Inspect and check completed work to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
* Collaborate with welders, machinists, and other workshop personnel to meet production deadlines.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
* Minimum 4 years\’ experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
* Excellent communication skills
THE HOURS:
· Standard working hours: 40 hours per week 8:00am – 4:30pm Can be flexible if needed.
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate between £14 – £18 an hour depending on experience.
