We are recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician to work for our client who are in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland.
THE DUTIES:
- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of light commercial vehicles (vans)
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out inspections, MOT preparation, and general repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within set timescales
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification
- MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
THE HOURS:
Monday – Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate between £20 - £25 per hour
