Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer based in Corby, Northamptonshire. They are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair their manufacturing machinery. They are looking for someone with either a Mechanical or Electrical bias, but comfortable in both Electrical and Mechanical engineering.
Shift Pattern: Panama shift (3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off), Days and Nights on rotation, 12 hour shifts.
Salary: £45,000 / £47,500 / £50,000 depending on experience.
NOTE – You will have access to training, development and further qualifications as part of the company s learning & development programme, with the opportunity to increase your salary with each successful course passed)
Responsibilities:
• To undertake mechanical and electrical engineering activities, assisting in planned, unplanned, and improvement work
• Scheduled PPM of plant and equipment
• Pro-active / re-active monitoring
• To ensure that the efficiency of the process is maintained at all times
• Fault diagnoses and repair
• Electrical / mechanical installation and repairs
Requirements:
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, with experience of both Mechanical and Electrical experience.
• Experience of maintenance engineering in a production / manufacturing / factory / FMCG environment.
