Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer with a global presence. They are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to maintain and repair their manufacturing machinery. This is a permanent role. They are looking for someone who is Multi Skilled / Dual Skilled in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, but with an Electrical bias.
Location: Swadlincote
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Days and Nights on rotation, 12 hour shifts (6am 6pm / 6pm 6am).
Salary: GBP44,000 including shift allowance.
Your duties as a Maintenance Engineer will include:
- Completing of both Electrical and Mechanical (M&E) breakdown repairs
- Scheduled PPM of plant and equipment
- Fault diagnoses and repair
- DC & AC drives, motors and gearboxes
- PLC fault finding
- Pneumatic/Hydraulic repairs
- Safe isolation and safe working
- Electrical / mechanical installation
Candidate Requirements:
- Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
- Apprentice trained, or timed served Maintenance Engineer, or a HNC / HND / NVQ Level 3 / similar qualification in Engineering
- Experience in a Factory / Manufacturing environment
- Autonomous and team working
- Understanding and able to read technical engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills
