Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking for a multiskilled engineer with a mechanical bias on behalf of our client based in sheffield. The role will include commissioning, servicing, maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery.\\n\\nThe role:\\n\\n * Commissioning, testing, installing, maintenance, and servicing\\n\\n * 60/40 mechanical/Electrical bias\\n\\n * Working overtime as and when required – occasional overnight stay\\n\\n * Work with the Engineering Team Leader to ensure spares are topped up in allocated van for works orders\\n\\n * Report any fault finding\\n\\n * Wherever necessary act as a mentor for Engineering Workshop trainees, providing guidance and advice as required.\\n\\nExperience\\n\\n * Experienced Maintenance Engineer\\n\\n * Worked with manufacturing machinery\\n\\n * Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification or minimum of 3 years' experience on the job\\n\\n * Strong Communication Skills\\n\\n * Proactive approach essential\\n\\n * Good planning and prioritising skills\\n\\n * Good Customer Service skills are essential\\n\\n * Good IT Skills are essential – knowledge of Microsoft NAV (Navision) and TAG would be an advantage.
