Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician

Questech Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client in York, North Yorkshire for an Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician\\n\\nThe Person:\\n\\n * NVQ Level 3 or advanced apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.\\n\\n * Further qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (18th Edition)\\n\\n * JIB card or CSCS card equivalent\\n\\n * You must hold a current UK driving licence\\n\\n * Good knowledge of electrical maintenance and operation of all factory machines\\n\\n * Good practical mechanical / electrical ability\\n\\n * Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimum supervision\\n\\n * Commitment to product, quality and safety\\n\\n * Be positive, flexible and hardworking.\\n\\nThe Role:\\n\\n * Providing day to day maintenance support to ensure all plant and machinery are maintained to a high standard, to enable the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing operation.\\n\\n * Ensure safe working practices are always observed to minimise risks to personnel with production areas\\n\\n * Ensure that scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance are completed for all major items of plant equipment\\n\\n * Support management processes for the maintenance programme\\n\\n * Ensure that all documentation required for quality, health and safety and environment is completed satisfactorily\\n\\n * In conjunction with the Technical Engineering Director and Management, provide assistance by collating specifications for any new or modified equipment\\n\\n * To work with Siemens PLC's, motors and drives\\n\\n * To be able to interpret drawings and technical manuals\\n\\n * Ensure all waste is correctly segregated and disposed of in the appropriate waste container\\n\\n * Awareness and adherence to the Company’s, Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Policies and Procedures\\n\\n * Strict adherence of the Company Hygiene Policy and Procedure\\n\\nThis role is working Monday to Friday – 08:00am to 16:30pm.\\n\\n * This does require been on call every other week\\n\\nThe salary will be £51,500pa.\\n\\nFor more information regarding this position contact:\\n\\nLaura Riding\\n\\nQuestech Recruitment
