We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to work for our client who are on the outskirts of Mansfield.
THE DUTIES OF A CNC TURNER:
- Programming, Setting and operating Turning machines with fanuc controls
- Producing high quality large components
- Reading engineering drawings
- Be able to perform maintenance on the CNC machines
- Quality check machined parts using Verniers/ Callipers / micrometres
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
- Have the ability to write and edit programmes
- Experience in tooling setup and adjustment for various machining operations
- Knowledge of quality control based around ISO is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be apprentice trained
THE HOURS:
Permanent, Full Time. Days 39 hours: 6.45 - 3.30 Monday - Thursday, 6.45 - 2.30 on Friday.
THE PAY:
The annual pay rate is between 25k-40k per annum, depending on experience.
