About the Role:
Questech Automotive are seeking a skilled and reliable Light Vehicle Mechanic to join one of our amazing clients' growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of light vehicles, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on light vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment
- Carry out repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, transmissions, and other components
- Ensure all work is completed to safety and manufacturer standards
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Requirements:
- Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Fully qualified to level 3 in City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Experience in a workshop or dealership setting (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
What We Offer:
- Salary - You will earn an hourly rate of between £20 - £25 per hour depending on experience. Overtime is available and paid at an enhanced rate.
