Maintenance Fitter

We're recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Selby area. This role is working for a leading manufacturer with a wide range of machinery on site. The business are expanding and have the immediate need for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join their close knit team. If you're looking for a fast paced, challenging role then look no further. The Person: * NVQ Level 3 (Apprentice Trained). * Experience in a manufacturing setting. * Have worked as: Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician or Multiskilled Engineer. * Self motivated, Trustworthy, eye for detail. The Role: * Planned Preventative Maintenance. * Maintenance of a wide range of machinery including packaging, washers, Metal detectors, Print machinery and conveyors. * Hydraulics / Pneumatics. * Basic Fabrication. * Adhering to site H&S procedure. * Reactive Maintenance. * Liaising with production to ensure minimal machinery downtime. This role works a shift pattern that changes for peak. Half of the year at (phone number removed). Half of the year on Days, Nights and Afternoon pattern that does incorporate weekend working to site requirements. Salary on offer is £40,000 + generous overtime rates available.
