Temporary HGV Technician
Monday to Friday
45 hours per week
Umbrella - up to Β£38 ph
PAYE - Β£25 ph
Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of Europe's biggest Automotive groups who are looking to recruit for a Temporary Workshop Technician at their Bexleyheath site.
We are looking for Technicians/mechanics from a Commercial, HGV, PSV or LGV background with at least 2 years experience in the Industry. You will be Apprentice trained to Level 3 or equivalent that has experience working with a variety of LGV or HGV vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation of parts
- Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment onsite
- Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.
- Accurately record time to complete job cards and associated details in accordance with DVSA.
- Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required by the Workshop Supervisor to maximise workshop efficiency
Skills & Experience / Qualifications
- Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a qualified Fitter/Mechanic/Engineer
- Possession of own tools
