We are recruiting for a Fabricator / Welder to work for our client who are located in York.

The Duties

  • Welding and fabricating components for heavy machinery
  • Mig Welding
  • General workshop duties
  • Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications to determine appropriate welding methods and techniques.
  • Inspect welded joints and completed work to ensure quality compliance and structural integrity
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with all health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals, schedules, and deadlines
  • Assist with troubleshooting welding processes, techniques, and equipment issues as required
  • Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently

Essential Experiences & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within a Welding role
  • Excellent attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
  • Mechanical knowledge

The Hours

  • Days: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3.30pm (12-minute unpaid break 10am & 30 mins unpaid lunch at 1:30pm).
  • Friday 6am - 2:30pm (12-minute unpaid break at 10am).

The Pay

You will earn an hourly rate of £16.50-£18
