Our client is a fast-paced production facility and is looking for a Contract - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to start as soon as possible.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Relevant Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification or recognised Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship.
- Must be Multi Skilled.
- Relevant experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office family of products.
- Experience of Maintenance Management Systems & software.
Responsibilities
- Planned Preventative Maintenance, Breakdowns and repairs of machinery and production lines.
- Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.
- Communicate with Engineering colleagues on a regular basis to communicate equipment status, performance against the required schedule.
- Manage Health and Safety: Ensure all engineering work carried out meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.
- Document Standard Work & Standard Confirmation: Ensure documents are up to date and reflect the preventive maintenance.
