We're recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Our client has an impressive manufacturing facility and is looking to expand their team.
The Person:
- NVQ Level 3 (Apprentice Trained) in Electrical Engineering.
- Approachable / Resilient / Ambitious.
- Completed further training (17th/18th edition).
- Good knowledge of electrical maintenance and operation of all factory machines.
- Good practical mechanical skills.
- Experienced in a manufacturing environment.
The Role:
- Electrical maintenance of all machinery on site.
- PLC Fault finding would be an advantage.
- Installation of new machinery.
- Inputting data to the CMM system.
- Providing day to day maintenance support to ensure all plant and machinery are maintained to a high standard, to enable the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing operation.
- Ensure safe working practices are always observed to minimise risks to personnel within production areas.
- Ensure that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance are completed for all major items of plant equipment.
- Ensure that all documentation required for quality, health and safety and environment is completed satisfactorily.
- Awareness and adherence to the Company’s Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
The Salary will be between £46,000pa - £47,000pa + Benefits. This role is working 12-hour shifts that will include Days & Nights on a 4on 4off pattern.
