Questech Recruitment are recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join the team at one of our well established clients based out of Hemswell.
Shift Pattern/Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07.30- 16:00
Salary: £38,628 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained both proactively and reactively to deliver safe and reliable operation in line with planned production requirements.
- Responsible for setting up blades and keeping the same high standard of tolerance.
- Responsible for installing blades keeping the same high standard and tolerance.
- Lubrication of all assets.
- Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping (within specified areas).
- Practice & encourage others to deliver the highest standards of Health & Safety at all times and ensure that all plant and ancillary equipment is maintained to these high standards.
- Ensure all recording systems for work completion are correctly compiled with all relevant information detailed.
- Assist the Area Engineering Supervisor in minimising machine down time by proposing & introducing improved maintenance programmes & continuous improvement ideas.
- Responsible for timely completion of all relevant plant PPM schedules and to provide support for all site wide PPM programs.
- Ensure good communication avenues are prevalent between the Engineering Teams & the Operational Teams.
