Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a FLT/Shunter Driver to join a growing team based at High Marnham. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available.

Location: High Marnham

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: £14.28 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm

The successful candidate will support the despatch and yard operations, ensuring goods are moved, loaded, and prepared for transport safely and efficiently.

Training Period: For the first two weeks, you will work 6:00am – 2:00pm to complete training with the existing team before moving onto the permanent shift of 2:00pm – 10:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move materials around site
  • Shunting vehicles within the yard when required
  • Preparing goods for despatch and checking orders for accuracy
  • Following site health and safety procedures at all times
  • Supporting general yard and operational duties as needed

Requirements

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence
  • Shunter Licence (essential)
  • Previous experience within a despatch, warehouse, or yard environment
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team
