Our client is seeking an experienced Fitter to join their production team at a well-established site in Warwick.

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 06:45 and 16:15

Salary: Up to £16.94ph

Duties:

  • Assemble and install mechanical components in line with engineering specifications
  • Carry out work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings
  • Maintain consistently high standards of quality and safety
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets
  • Uphold good housekeeping practices and comply with all health and safety requirements
  • Utilise computer systems, including the Production Management System (PMS)
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting different departments when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or comparable role
  • Experience working to takt times within a single-line production environment
  • Competent in general hydraulic fitting and mechanical assembly work
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving abilities
  • Confident using computer systems and production management software
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in confined spaces and undertake occasional manual handling
  • Relevant mechanical fitting qualifications or training in hydraulics/pneumatics advantageous
