Our client is seeking an experienced Fitter to join their production team at a well-established site in Warwick.
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 06:45 and 16:15
Salary: Up to £16.94ph
Duties:
- Assemble and install mechanical components in line with engineering specifications
- Carry out work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings
- Maintain consistently high standards of quality and safety
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets
- Uphold good housekeeping practices and comply with all health and safety requirements
- Utilise computer systems, including the Production Management System (PMS)
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting different departments when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or comparable role
- Experience working to takt times within a single-line production environment
- Competent in general hydraulic fitting and mechanical assembly work
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving abilities
- Confident using computer systems and production management software
- Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work in confined spaces and undertake occasional manual handling
- Relevant mechanical fitting qualifications or training in hydraulics/pneumatics advantageous
