Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for someone with good hands on manufacturing and production experience to join them as a Fabrication Operative / Tube Manipulator.

This role will become permanent after successfully completing 3 months full work as a temporary agency worker.
Shift pattern: 6.00am – 2.00pm / 2.00pm – 10.00pm (rotating every 2 weeks)
Salary: £14.73 per hour (£12.95 basic + 13.75% shift allowance) + Overtime at time and a half, or double time (based on the basic) depending on the amount over overtime worked.
Location: Holmfield HX2
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience of tube bending and stud welding will be a definite advantage, and will be favoured
- Previous experience in a hands-on role in a manufacturing / production / factory / engineering environment
- You must have experience of using a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
- You are able to follow diagrams and engineers instructions to manufacture products.
- You can start ASAP, or with a very short notice period
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manual tube bending, cutting, and fabrication
- Stud welding
- Following engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Utilising hand and power tools whilst maintaining consistent quality
