Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for someone with good hands-on manufacturing and production experience to join them as a Fabrication Operative / Tube Manipulator. This role will become permanent after successfully completing 3 months full work as a temporary agency worker.
Hours of work: 2.00pm - 10.00pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £15.22 per hour + Overtime at £19.43 (if available)
Location: Holmfield HX2
Please only apply if you meet the following requirements:
- Experience of tube bending and stud welding will be a definite advantage, and will be favoured
- Previous experience in a hands-on role in a manufacturing / production / factory / engineering environment
- You must have experience of using a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
- You are able to follow diagrams and engineers' instructions to manufacture products
- You can start ASAP, or with a very short notice period
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manual tube bending, cutting, and fabrication
- Stud welding
- Following engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Utilising hand and power tools whilst maintaining consistent quality
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by management
This job would suit someone from a manufacturing or production environment; previous job titles may include: Stud Welder / Welding Operative / Tube Bender.
