Questech Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer of products across a wide range of sectors who have an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday - rotating weekly shifts (6am-2.15pm, 10pm-6.15am, 2pm-10.15pm) with overtime available.
Salary: £18.73 per hour.
The Role: You will be responsible for the maintenance, installation and repair of the site's machinery and facilities. You will work on a rotating shift supporting the Production team by responding quickly and safely to maintenance tickets raised, being proactive around repairs and generally ensuring a safe environment. You will be working in a team, troubleshooting machine faults, installing new equipment and providing preventative repairs.
Who we're looking for:
- You will have experience performing maintenance in a factory setting, ideally manufacturing.
- You will have Levels 2 & 3 in an Engineering qualification, and ideally be apprentice-trained.
- You will have ideally an Electrical bias, and have experience in the field.
- You are proactive, able to work under your own initiative, and methodical.
- You MUST be able to work on a rotating shift pattern doing earlies, nights and lates.
