Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimise control systems implementation including operation. The Person:

  • Must have NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering / PLC programming, Electrical Maintenance (preferably degree level)
  • PLC Knowledge and expertise
  • Ability to write PLC programmes and provide software support
  • Knowledge of data capture systems
  • Fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Advanced IT Skills
  • Network knowledge and understanding
  • Experience and knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and best practice
  • Knowledge of ALBB Robots, Rapid

The Role:

  • Ensure accurate software backups are available and up to date for all PLC programs on site, new and existing equipment
  • Modify PLC programs where required
  • Liaise with staff and group for MES integration
