Are you an experienced Vehicle Mechanic looking for an excellent hourly rate and daytime hours.

The Automotive Maintenance division of Questech Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced HGV and LCV Mechanic for a well-respected company based in Coleshill.

The Role You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of HGVs and light commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and fully compliant.

Your duties will include

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of HGVs and LCVs
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carrying out six-weekly vehicle inspections
  • Completing preventative maintenance
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Accurately recording completed work and inspection findings What We’re Looking For The successful candidate will:
  • Be apprentice-trained or hold a recognised vehicle maintenance qualification
  • Have experience working with HGVs and light commercial vehicles
  • Be confident carrying out servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis
  • Have a strong understanding of vehicle inspections and compliance
  • Be reliable, professional and capable of working independently Hours Monday to Friday: 7:00am–4:00pm Pay £28.00–£33.00 per hour, depending on experience. What’s on Offer?
