The Automotive Maintenance division of Questech Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced HGV and LCV Mechanic for a well-respected company based in Coleshill.
The Role You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of HGVs and light commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and fully compliant.
Your duties will include
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of HGVs and LCVs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out six-weekly vehicle inspections
- Completing preventative maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Accurately recording completed work and inspection findings What We’re Looking For The successful candidate will:
- Be apprentice-trained or hold a recognised vehicle maintenance qualification
- Have experience working with HGVs and light commercial vehicles
- Be confident carrying out servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis
- Have a strong understanding of vehicle inspections and compliance
- Be reliable, professional and capable of working independently Hours Monday to Friday: 7:00am–4:00pm Pay £28.00–£33.00 per hour, depending on experience. What’s on Offer?
