Questech Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer at a busy food manufacturing facility in Bristol.

The Hours: Monday - Friday 3 Shift (6-2/ 2-10 /10-6). Regular Overtime is available.

The Role: You will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum uptime and compliance within a fast-paced food production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown repair on production machinery
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Working on conveyors, packaging lines, motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and food industry standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime

Requirements:

  • Time-served Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification
  • Strong electrical maintenance experience within food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to fault find under pressure in a fast-moving production setting
  • Knowledge of PLCs (fault finding level preferred)
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently on contract assignments
